Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

This policy explains what Novi collects, how we use it, and the choices you have around your account and app data.

Who we are

Tip Top Fitness LLC (“Novi,” “we,” “us”) operates a fitness training app and website that helps users plan workouts, log training, use text and voice AI coaching features, and request coach check-ins. If you have questions about this policy, email support@novimovement.com.

What we collect

On the website, we receive basic technical information your browser sends, such as IP address, user agent, page URL, and similar logs used to operate and protect the site. We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand traffic, page views, referrers, countries, and site performance in aggregate.

In the app, we collect account information such as your name, email address, and account identifier, plus the training information you provide. Training information can include fitness level, goals, equipment, training frequency, pain or injury notes, workout sessions, set records, coach-style preferences, text-coach messages, voice-usage records, referral information, coaching memories, and coaching notes.

If you use optional text or voice AI coaching features, the messages you type, audio you record, transcripts, prompts, and relevant training context may be sent to Google to generate responses. We also process purchase and subscription status, product-interaction events, and limited diagnostic information needed to provide entitlements, troubleshoot failures, and operate the app. We do not sell personal data to advertisers or use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

The app may also record structured app-action outcomes and Helpful or Not quite feedback so we can identify navigation or coaching flows that need improvement. Guest records stay on that device; signed-in records may be tied to the account. Those structured action records do not contain raw voice transcripts, microphone audio, camera images, video, or pose landmarks.

How we use information

  • Operate the website and app.
  • Create and maintain your account.
  • Personalize workouts and training guidance.
  • Personalize the coaching style you choose.
  • Save workout history and coaching context.
  • Run text AI coaching, voice coaching, and form-feedback features.
  • Verify whether requested in-app actions worked.
  • Provide customer support and account deletion.
  • Protect the service from abuse or security issues.
  • Improve the product in aggregate.

Product-wide changes are reviewed and released through our normal testing process. The coach does not rewrite or deploy the app on its own.

Third parties

We use a small set of service providers to operate Novi:

  • Vercel for hosting and server functions.
  • Supabase for authentication, profiles, workout history, and account data.
  • Apple and Google for optional account sign-in and, where applicable, app-store purchases.
  • RevenueCat for purchase validation, subscription status, and app entitlements.
  • Google for text AI coaching, voice coaching, and optional speech features.
  • Google MediaPipe for on-device pose detection and related camera-form technology.

Camera and microphone

Novi asks for camera, microphone, or photo-library access only for app features that need those permissions. During workouts, camera form checks process camera frames and body-position landmarks on your device, and Novi does not upload or store those frames or landmarks. Progress photo reminders save the reminder checkpoint on your device; the selected image is not uploaded by Novi.

AI Movement Assessment recordings

The AI Movement Assessment is the one feature that sends video off your device, and it only ever does so if you explicitly agree on the assessment screen. If you agree, Novi records two short clips of your overhead squat — one from the front and one from the side — and sends them, together with the body-position measurements taken on your device, to Google’s Gemini models for analysis. Those recordings are deleted after the assessment has been analysed, are not used to train any provider’s models, and are not kept for advertising or profiling. If you decline, no video leaves your device and you still receive an assessment calculated entirely on your phone. Ordinary workouts never upload video, whatever you choose here.

Raw microphone audio is not stored by Novi. Audio is sent to and processed by Google when you choose voice coaching, and typed coach messages with relevant workout context may be processed by Google when you use text coaching.

Data retention

We keep account, profile, workout, text-coach, and coaching information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Before you create an account, onboarding answers and first-workout import data are kept on your device for up to 24 hours so you can resume and carry them into an account. Guest coach-style settings stay on that device; if you later create a new account, explicit style choices may be carried into that account. Signing in to an existing account does not import guest style choices from the device. Structured app-action outcomes expire after 90 days, and structured coaching feedback expires after 180 days. If you delete your account, we delete associated app data where required and may keep limited records when needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or compliance reasons.

Your choices

You can email us to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We'll respond within 30 days.

In the app, you can review, change, or reset coach-style preferences in Settings and remove saved coaching memories there.

If you have a Novi account, you can also start deletion from inside the app under Settings, or use the account deletion page.

Children

Novi is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Novi changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
